Description
SCARCE. "New Alphabet in Enigmas". Hand coloured lithographic title-page, 26 hand coloured lithographic plates all heightened with gum-arabic, 1 pp "Explication des Sujets", 4 pp ads. Quarter leather over 'satin' green cloth covered boards with decorative gilt detail to boards and spine; marbled endpapers. Corners 'bumped' and worn - else good. Contents slightly toned but good overall.
