The Cutter, in Five Lectures upon The Art and Practice of Cutting Friends, Acquaintances...

Arthur Benoni Evans (1781–1854) was a British writer. A rough definition of a cutting remark is that it is designed to be unkind and likely to hurt someone's feelings. People make cutting remarks to help themselves feel superior or powerful. This little book is dedicated to this art.
