Our long time friend and supporter Mrinal Kapadia visited the lovely Simla / Himachal Pradesh region of northern India. As a thank you for his hosts while there he wanted to make a gift of an image requested from the collection. We were delighted!

Mrinal Kapadia is a long term friend and avid supporter of the S.P. Lohia Collection. He writes articles and organises displays pertaining to certain parts of India that are of interest to him and to a wider audience.

A very excited Lukas Palumbo got in touch with us for some images, as he is an illustrator who takes most of his inspiration from hand coloured prints. He came to the right place! He was in awe of the collection. We hope he enjoys it from this day forward

Muhammed Zafar grew up in Bangalore, and wished to return to see his family still there. He wanted some images from a collection book to share with his family. The images were very nostalgic for him from both a personal and a historic perspective.
