With eight full-page lithographed plates, nicely coloured by hand. 287, (1) pp. A well-illustrated edition of the very popular stories about the romantic adventures of John Wilmot, the Earl of Rochester (1648-1680), together with Rochester's poetry. Frontispiece, beginning " My situation was a curious one..." 2. " I raised her in my arms, it was but a few steps..." 3. " Her bosom zone was untried and..." 4. " I imprinted a kiss on her balmy lips..." 5. " At the shrine of Venus..." 6. " The good-natured creature conducted him to her..." 7. " finding a trial of skill between Rochester and the young lady..." 8. " Give me Ambrosia in a kiss..."
